- Nigeria's poverty compared to Congo's poverty is different in many ways. Congo is suffering poverty more than Nigeria, it is at the top of the list to be one of the poorest country in Africa. Nigeria is living on less than $1.25 daily but, Congo is living below the poverty line. Congo doesn't have many resources only a amount of them can get fresh water, unlike Nigeria it has oil to be a resource for the people and they could get it more easily. As you can see it's shown that Nigeria's percentage of living under $2 daily is 35-75% and for Congo they can't even get a percentage because they're already living lower then the others .
- Nigeria's poverty compared to Liberia is also different. Liberia is still recovering from the effects of a 14-year civil war that ended in 2003. More than 80 per cent of Liberians were surviving on less than US$1.25 per day. Three quarters of the poor live in rural areas. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations classifies Liberia as a low-income, food-deficit country, reporting that about half of the population is food-insecure or highly vulnerable to food insecurity.
